The asahi PENTAX KM is a manual SLR film camera that is a close relative of the PENTAX K1000. However the KM is completly made in Japan unlike the k1000 with a sturdier construction, self timer and depth of field preview.

Overall Condition;

Overall this camera is good condition. Takes stunning pictures though has a small defect in the viewfinder ( see pictures & below ) 

Please note this defect does not stop you from taking beautiful pictures  


Appearance


Overall this camera is good cosmetic condition. Signs of general wear but nothing stands out 


Optical Quality

The viewfinder of this camera is clear however there is a black line/ residue inside ( see pictures)

When looking through the viewfinder there is a slight blur allong the bottom that takes up about 5% of the total viewing space. 

This doesnt stop you taking pictures and was barely noticeable while testing ( see pictures). Its more noticeable when not looking through the viewfinder.

The lens is clean with no signs of mold, hazing or scratches


Functionality

This camera has been film tested (see pictures) and at time of shooting all functions were working exactly as they should.

Self timer gets a little sticky.
