The MINOLTA sr-1 is your classic mechanical SLR ( single lens reflex) 35mm Film Camera. This model was manufactured in 1959 and is fully mechanical. The ROKKOR lens can take some beautiful photos ( see test shots) 

This camera will last the test of time as it doesnt require batteries as it has no electrical components. 

Can be good for a begginer to advanced photographer however it is bare bones with no light meter. That said all my shots were set to sunny 16 (f16) and turned out beautifully. You can also use a light meter app on your iphone to gauge what settings to use if thats your thing

Overall this camera is good cosmetic condition. 


Optical Quality

The viewfinder of this camera is clear and mostly clean ( see pictures). There are some small clear shards/ remanents inside the viewfinder which dont interfear with the pictures

The lens is clean with no signs of mold, hazing or scratches


Functionality

This camera has been film tested (see pictures) and at time of shooting all functions were working exactly as they should.

This camera requires no batteries and is fully mechanical
